Arcata High School

Arcata High School

Arcata High School serves seven elementary districts representing the communities of Arcata, Bayside, Blue Lake, Fairhaven, Fieldbrook, Greenpoint, Manila, Samoa and Maple Creek. Arcata High School students represent the community at large in their economic, cultural and social diversity. The entire staff and administrative team take great pride in the efforts and achievements of our student population.

The Arcata/Six Rivers and McKinleyville High School Career & College Centers provide students with resources for planning life after high school.  One on one counseling sessions allow students to talk about how to apply for college, look for scholarships, write a resume, explore career options, set up a Job Shadow, or get their questions answered about other options for after high school.   The Career & College Centers are key to advancing the Career Pathways goals, because it is often in these one on one counseling sessions where we can help students find the information that they need to make informed decisions about their futures.   Career Pathways staffs consistent office hours at both Arcata/SRCHS (Darcy Robins is the AHS C&CC coordinator and also works 20+ hours each week) and at McKinleyville High Schools.
